The West Virginia Chapter of HIMSS (WVHIMSS) is a non-profit organization formed in 2006 dedicated to improving healthcare for the residents of WV through Information Technology. WVHIMSS brings together a diverse group of healthcare professionals and organizations throughout the state focusing on leadership, collaboration, knowledge sharing, education and advocacy.

 

The Board of WVHIMSS clearly recognizes the value of establishing strong partnerships with our vendor partners to ensure continued growth and success of state healthcare IT initiatives through the work of our chapter. The success of our chapter and its future work requires continued support from our vendor sponsors. Without strong sponsorship support, our chapter will not have the resources to expand our membership and support to our communities.

Our 2023-2024 year brings new sponsorship opportunities through our bi-annual conference events.  These sponsorship opportunities include:

  • Support our fall and spring conferences by providing speakers or by offering to help cover dinners, drinks and snacks.  This calendar year WVHIMSS will be offering
    • Fall Event – Canceled for expanded Spring event
    • Spring Event 2024 – May 28th, 29th and 30th at Bridgeport Conference Center
  • Hosting regional education/networking/social events to provide more local exposure/networking opportunities
  • Sponsor or host our annual WVHIMSS Webinar 
  • Help broadening the exposure of WVHIMSS through social media.
    • Assist with relevant healthcare content on our new LinkedIn and Facebook sites
    • Vendor Sponsor marketing on our new updated website
  • Opportunities to serve on WVHIMSS Board and committees
